call for models!!! "Shabby Chic" 2013

Looking for boys & girls ages 4-9. no previous modeling experience necessary. Models will be featured on our 2013 "Shabby Chic" promotional materials, on our new WEBSITE & BLOG--COMING IN SPRING 2013!! All Models will be compensated with 2-3 high res images from our session together!! Please email us ((joannagailphotography@live.com)) a brief statement explaining why your son or daughter would be a great candidate for "Shabby Chic" promo--along with a headshot & full body photo!! "shabby chic"--------------------- SHABBY: 1. showing signs of wear and tear; threadbare or worn-out. 2. dilapidated or deteriorated in condition. CHIC: (sheek) 1. conforming to the current fashion; stylish; chic clothes; a chic boutique. 2. the quality or state of being stylish; fashionableness. 3. sophistication in dress and manner; elegance. ---------------inspired by the days when my little ones would still let me dress them up and take their picture, the shabby chic portrait package is specifically designed for children ages 4-9. no new clothes for this portrait session! we will create an ensemble from my shabby chic wardrobe. the wardrobe consists of some of my favorite and most cherished pieces from my children's childhood closet (along with many precious finds from estate sales and thrift stores). the shabby chic look combines a whimsical assortment of materials, colors, textures, and vintage patterns, worn in layers and augmented with costume jewelry and a variety of different styled hats and scarves. parents - you are encouraged to bring along several signature pieces (very worn and LOVED!) from your child's wardrobe to incorporate into the personalized shabby chic ensemble for your child.
